Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly keen on securing Wigan Athletic striker Connor Sammon on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 25-year-old has lost his place in the Latics side in recent weeks, and Wednesday boss Dave Jones is keen to secure the Irishman to aid his team's League One promotion push, according to The Mirror.
Jones's side currently sit in third spot in League One, level on points with second-placed Sheffield United with nine games left to play.
Sammon has scored just one league goal for Wigan since joining the club from Kilmarnock in January of last year.
