Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly looking to snap up striker Gary Hooper, who has fallen out of favour at Norwich City.
The Canaries striker, who joined the club for £5m from Celtic two years ago, is allegedly not a part of Alex Neil's plans, as he aims for the club's safety come the end of the season.
However, rumours suggest that Wednesday are offering £1.7m to take the striker off the club's hands for one season, according to The Sun.
The Championship club are reportedly offering to pay a £500,000 loan fee and cover the striker's £32,000-a-week wages.
Other clubs are said to have been interested but have failed to stump up the money to cover his wages and a loan fee.
