Sheffield Wednesday have signed Martin Taylor from Watford on a two-year contract.
The central defender had asked to leave the Vicarage Road club and he was granted his wish as the two clubs agreed a move for an undisclosed fee.
The 32-year-old had captained Watford in all of their Championship fixtures before his departure.
Taylor scored 10 goals in 95 appearances during his time at Watford.
