Sheffield Wednesday have signed defender Matt Young from Southampton on a one-year contract.
The 20-year-old, who primarily plays at right-back, moves to Hillsborough after a season playing regularly for the Saints' development squad.
"Southampton have some extremely talented players and when you play and train alongside them, they obviously rub off on you," he told Wednesday's website.
"I've played with players who pushed on into the first team there including the likes of Luke Shaw and Calum Chambers and good luck to them.
"Now I'm happy to be here and to take my own path."
Young's arrival is the second of the day at Wednesday following the addition of Ed Sanders from Stoke City.
