Burton Albion and Shrewsbury Town have failed to break the deadlock in the opening 45 minutes at the Pirelli Stadium.
The league leaders have had the brighter first half, as they have had a host of chances and have managed to keep the Brewers at bay, limiting them to only a few shots on goal.
Burton's Matthew Palmer had a decent chance to put the home side a goal up before half time but his shot could only sting the palms of Jayson Leutwiler in the Shrewsbury net.
A fairly even first half has shown little to separate the two sides at the top of League Two as they go in goalless.
