Siena and Cagliari have played out a goalless draw with each other in Serie A this afternoon.
The visitors had the better of the early chances in the first half, with Thiago Ribeiro heading wide before Albin Ekdal put the ball over.
An effort from Victor Ibarbo resulted in the only save of the opening 45 minutes, as Gianluca Pegolo comfortably gathered the striker's 32nd-minute strike.
The hosts found their way into the game after the break, as chances for Ferreira Reginaldo and Innocent Emeghara left the Cagliari defence scrambling.
A physical final 20 minutes saw both sides record a number of fouls, resulting in a scrappy end to the match with neither side creating the chance to score the match-winning goal.
The result leaves Siena in the bottom three, while Cagliari remain 13th.
