Lecce fought back from a one-goal deficit to claim all three points from their home encounter with Siena this afternoon.
Following a tight start to the match, visiting Siena broke the deadlock in the 25th minute courtesy of defender Cristiano Del Grosso.
However, Lecce were back level through the break thanks to former Colombian youth international Luis Muriel.
Veteran striker David Di Michele put Lecce in front in the 68th from the penalty spot.
The victory was sealed eight minutes from time when Juan Cuadrado beat the offside trap before slotting the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
The home side ended the match with ten men following the sending off of midfielder Manuele Blasi.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, Lecce extended their lead further in stoppage time with a strike from Davide Brivio.
