Nolan Roux scored twice in two minutes to earn Lille a 2-0 victory against Sochaux at Stade Bonal on Saturday.
After a quiet opening 35 minutes, Lille found an opener 10 minutes before the break when Salomon Kalou raced onto a pass down the left and slipped the ball inside to Roux, who slammed his finish into the far top corner of the net.
Just three minutes later, Roux scored his and his side's second after heading home from a Marvin Martin corner on the edge of the six-yard box.
The victory moves Lille up to sixth, while Sochaux stay bottom of the Ligue 1 table.
