Southampton assistant manager Jesus Perez has admitted that his side were made to work for their FA Cup win against Yeovil Town on Saturday.
Guly do Prado opened the scoring for the Saints before Sam Gallagher sealed the win with his first senior goal.
Perez told reporters: "It wasn't an easy game. The first half was open.
"They (Yeovil) had some chances to score.
"In the second half, we were much better and created lots of chances."
Southampton host Arsenal in their next game on Tuesday.
