Ronald Koeman has praised his side's "outstanding" defending during Southampton's win over Arsenal at St Mary's this afternoon.
The home side survived a dominant spell from the Gunners in the first half before goals from Sadio Mane and Dusan Tadic sealed a 2-0 victory for the Saints.
The manager told reporters: "I think we played good football. We had very good organisation and had the best chances in the game. We had to kill it after 2-0 and in several moments our defending was outstanding.
"We had to score more. It's strange to beat Arsenal 2-0 and you're a little bit critical as we should have had three or four more at least today.
"We have a good team and can beat the big ones if we show the spirit we did today, everything is possible. We don't dream about the Champions League, we dream about our football and we will continue like that."
The result keeps Southampton fourth in the table, just a point behind third-placed Manchester United.
