Agent: 'Ezequiel Schelotto waiting for Southampton move'

The agent for Inter Milan midfielder Ezequiel Schelotto reveals that they are waiting for the Italian club to finalise his move to Southampton.

The agent for Ezequiel Schelotto has said that the Inter Milan midfielder is waiting for the Serie A club to agree his proposed move to Southampton

The 25-year-old struggled to secure a regular spot in the first team with the Italian side last season, completing just five Serie A matches.

Bruno Carpeggiani told FCInter1908.it: "We are waiting for the deal to go ahead. Yesterday I met with [Claudio] Vigorelli, who is acting as an intermediary for Southampton, and I can say that the situation is active, but whether it concludes tomorrow or whether it won't be resolved at all, I find difficult to say at the moment because we have to wait for Inter."

Schelotto has had loan spells with Sassuolo and Parma since joining Inter in 2013.
