Southampton forward Jay Rodriguez has emerged as a January transfer target for West Bromwich Albion.
During the summer, it was claimed that Baggies head coach Tony Pulis was keen to secure a loan deal for the England international, who eventually opted to remain at St Mary's.
However, according to The Telegraph, Pulis is currently considering whether to make another approach for the 27-year-old as he struggles for regular first-team action.
Rodriguez has made 11 appearances this season but he has only made one start in the Premier League, with the majority of his minutes coming in the Europa League and the EFL Cup.
West Brom have been lacking options in the final third, with Salomon Rondon and Hal Robson-Kanu acting as the club's only available strikers as Saido Berahino works on his fitness behind the scenes.
