West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has described his team's 4-0 rout over Burnley as a "great result".
Matt Phillips, James Morrison, Darren Fletcher and Salomon Rondon scored to give the Baggies their best win of the season so far, which in turn moved them up to ninth in the Premier League table.
Three of the team's goals were scored inside the first 37 minutes, while the final strike was netted by Rondon 19 minutes into the second half.
"We're pleased. I think we scored at the right time and we grew in confidence from there," Pulis told Sky Sports News. "Burnley never stop, you're on your toes. When the fourth goal went in we could relax a bit.
"We've watched them quite a few times and if they get set they're very difficult to break down, so we wanted to drop off and allow them to come on to us. It's a great result and the most important thing now is preparing for Saturday against Hull City, which is a massive game for us.
"It's a tough league and you've got to be on your game and make sure you work hard. I'm very very pleased we won tonight - a great performance from us. Really pleased with a clean sheet [as well]. Its always nice to have a solid base."
West Brom's last clean sheet was back in August.
