Fulham have reportedly moved to bring Southampton's Matt Targett to the club on a permanent basis.
The Whites have tabled a £10m for the right-back following his successful loan spell with them last season, according to Sky Sports News.
The Saints, however, are said to be planning to reject the offer as manager Mark Hughes sees the 22-year-old as a potential first-team player next season.
Targett made 22 appearances for Fulham last season and helped them secure promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.
The defender struggled to break into the first team during his time at St Mary's, sitting behind Ryan Bertrand in the pecking order.
