Southampton forward Guido Carrillo has joined La Liga side Leganes on a season-long loan move.
The Saints paid Monaco £19m to sign the 27-year-old during the January transfer window, but he failed to score in his 10 appearances for the English club in the second half of the 2017-18 season.
Carrillo was left out of the Southampton squad for their pre-season tour of China, and has now been reunited with former Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino, who took charge of Leganes in early June.
"Everyone at the club would like to wish Guido good luck for the season ahead," read a statement on Southampton's official website.
The Argentine scored eight times in 24 appearances for Monaco in the first half of last season, but was deemed surplus to requirements by Southampton boss Mark Hughes ahead of the new campaign.
