Newly-promoted Crystal Palace have reportedly agreed to sign winger Jason Puncheon from Premier League rivals Southampton on a season-long loan deal.
Saints manager Mauricio Pochettino is hoping to recruit Scott Sinclair from Manchester City, a deal which would leave Puncheon down the pecking order of wide men at St Mary's.
The 27-year-old was not in the Southampton squad that picked up an opening-day win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Palace boss Ian Holloway worked with Puncheon during his spell in charge at Blackpool, and the Croydon Guardian understands that the pair are poised to link up again at Selhurst Park.
Puncheon, born in Croydon, has scored eight goals in 65 starts for the Saints since joining them from Plymouth Argyle in 2010.
