Southampton have completed the signing of Jordy Clasie from Feyenoord on a five-year deal.
The 24-year-old midfielder joins the Saints for an undisclosed fee - thought to be around £8m - and becomes the club's fifth signing of the summer.
The sale of Morgan Schneiderlin to Manchester United earlier this week paved the way for manager Ronald Koeman to move for the Dutch international, whom he managed during his time in charge of Feyenoord.
"Jordy is one of the most highly sought-after midfielders in Europe. His qualities are plain to see for anybody who has watched his development over the past few years as closely as we have, and we are delighted that he will continue his growth at Southampton," executive director of football Les Reed told the club's official website.
"Like Cedric Soares and Juanmi, he has emerged from an academy with a set of values closely aligned to our own and has spent the entirety of his prior professional career contracted to one club.
"With Jordy having played for Ronald Koeman for three years at Feyenoord, this is the perfect move for both the player and Southampton Football Club."
Clasie has won 11 caps for his country and was part of the squad that finished third at last summer's World Cup in Brazil.
