Southend United manager Phil Brown has claimed that confidence levels within his squad are "through the roof" after the Shrimpers recorded their third straight win on Saturday.
The Essex club climbed to fifth in the League Two table by beating Exeter City 2-0 at St James' Park.
Brown told Southend's official website: "We're keeping clean sheets and we're scoring goals at the other end, that's eight without reply now.
"Three seems to be the lucky number for us at the moment. It's three wins in a row and three clean sheets in a row for the third time this season.
"The confidence is through the roof, that might change at some point but it's up to the coaching staff to keep that in good spirit."
