Southend United manager Phil Brown has extended his contract with the Essex-based club.
The 56-year-old, who guided the Shrimpers to promotion to League One via the playoffs last season, has committed himself to Roots Hall until the summer of 2018.
"It's been a long process, but I'm really pleased to be staying at Southend United," he told the club's official website.
"I've really enjoyed my time at the club so far and hopefully we can make some more memories together not just next season but beyond that as well."
Brown has been in charge of Southend since March 2013.
