Spain manager Vicente Del Bosque has expressed his delight with Fernando Torres after the Chelsea striker's goal against South Korea.
Torres found the back of the net for his country for the first time in nearly a year as he opened the scoring with a header in Spain's 4-1 win over South Korea.
Xabi Alonso, Santi Cazorla and Alvaro Negredo were also on target for the world and European champions, but Del Bosque was pleased to see the former Liverpool and Atletico Madrid forward get on the scoresheet.
"He is one of those players that offers speed, movement and combination play with his teammates," said Del Bosque.
"He seemed delighted with the goal and this is good for everyone."
Torres's goal means that he is now the fourth-highest Spanish goalscorer of all time.
