Spain striker Alvaro Negredo has been handed his first start of the tournament for tonight's Euro 2012 semi-final against Portugal.

The centre-forward has replaced Fernando Torres, while Cesc Fabregas has also been forced to settle for a place on the bench.

For Portugal, Hugo Almeida will start in attack in place of the injured Helder Postiga.
