Spain lineup vs. England: Predicted XI for Euro 2024 final

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Spain could line up for Sunday's Euro 2024 final against England in Berlin.

Spain manager Luis de la Fuente appears to have avoided an alarming injury scare over chief striker Alvaro Morata ahead of Sunday's Euro 2024 final against England at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Following one of the many incidences of pitch invaders managing to evade stewards, the Atletico Madrid man was inadvertently taken out by a security guard who was attempting to help eject the supporter.

Morata walked off gingerly, but he has since been training as normal and should be fine to lead the charge in Sunday's showpiece, but neither Pedri (knee) nor Ayoze Perez (thigh) will be involved.

Barring a late complication, Morata will no doubt spearhead a fearsome front three also housing Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal, the youngest-ever player to score at the European Championships.

The latter and Dani Olmo were both on target in the semi-final success over Spain, and the latter is now one of six players boasting a tournament-high three goals - Harry Kane is one of the others.

Further back, Fabian Ruiz and midfield metronome Rodri are engine room mainstays, and De la Fuente's defence will be strengthened by the return of Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand from their semi-final bans.

Carvajal was sent off in the quarter-final win over Germany, where Le Normand picked up a suspension-inducing yellow card, but the pair only had to sit on the naughty step for one game and should come straight back into the XI.

Jesus Navas and Nacho will be the ones to make way, as Marc Cucurella and Aymeric Laporte also form Unai Simon's protective barrier.

Spain possible starting lineup:
Simon; Carvajal, Le Normand, Laporte, Cucurella; Ruiz, Rodri, Olmo; Yamal, Morata, Williams
