Spain defender Alvaro Odriozola has said that "it is easy" to fit into the La Roja squad as the Real Sociedad full-back looks to make an impression at the 2018 World Cup.
Dani Carvajal's injury saw Odriozola given the nod to face Switzerland in Sunday night's international friendly, and the 22-year-old scored an excellent volley in his national team's 1-1 draw in Villarreal.
Odriozola's form for Sociedad during the 2017-18 campaign has seen him linked with a move to Real Madrid, but the three-time international has insisted that he is just focusing on this summer's tournament in Russia.
"I am new in the squad but it feels I have played with this group for my entire life, it is easy to fit in," Odriozola told Cadena Cope. "My club future? Right now I am just focused on the World Cup because everything else is a distraction, it can become a circus."
Odriozola scored once and provided four assists in 41 appearances for Sociedad last season.
