Spain captain Sergio Ramos has admitted that his team have plenty to work on after booking their spot in the knockout round of the 2018 World Cup.
Monday's 2-2 draw with Morocco saw La Roja finish top of Group B to set up a last-16 clash with Russia, but the 2010 world champions have only won one of their three matches this summer.
Ramos has claimed that Spain "must change the current mood as soon as possible", having thus far failed to hit full flow in Russia.
"We must change the current mood as soon as possible," Marca quotes Ramos as saying. "It was important to progress from the group so not everything is as bad as some people might say but the performance was not what it should be.
"We have a lot of attacking threat but in defence we must be more careful as that has cost us so far, we must reduce the margin of error because from now on, if we perform poorly we are out."
Spain were eliminated in the group stages of the 2014 World Cup.
