Spartak Moscow are reportedly keen to renew their interest in Everton defender Johnny Heitinga.
The Russian side had a £4.2m bid rejected for the Dutch international in February, though it seems that they are ready to come back in with an improved offer soon, according to the Daily Mail.
Turkish giants Fenerbahce were also believed to be keen on the 28-year-old, but it now looks as though they are planning to make the transfer of fellow Everton man Joseph Yobo permanent instead, after two seasons on loan at the club.
Although David Moyes is unlikely to want to see Heitinga leave, he may have difficulty keeping hold of the former Ajax player, with Spartak able to offer higher wages and the prospect of Champions League football next season.
The former Atletico Madrid man joined Everton in 2009 for a fee believed to be around £6.2m.
