Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has said that he is "very confident" striker Harry Kane will be fit enough to feature against Real Madrid in the Champions League tomorrow night.
The 24-year-old missed Spurs' 1-0 loss at Manchester United at the weekend due to a hamstring injury but returned to training on Monday ahead of the visit of Los Blancos.
"We are very confident. He is on the list, we have one day more to assess him," Pochettino told reporters today.
"I think maybe it can be possible he will be available to play tomorrow, but I don't want to be 100% sure about that decision, because we have one day more.
"Today and yesterday were good in training. Now with the medical staff, we will try to make the right decision, because it is important to make the right decision for tomorrow.
"He was training with the group and was good, the same level as the team. We must know now, the feeling from him today, after tonight, how he is going to feel, and then to take the best decision for him, first of all, and then for the team."
Spurs, who claimed a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu in the reverse earlier this month, currently lead the way in Group H on goal difference.
