Fiorentina midfielder Alberto Aquilani has dismissed suggestions that Tottenham Hotspur will find it difficult to focus on the second leg of their Europa League last-32 clash.
Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino faces a selection dilemma ahead of Sunday's League Cup final against Chelsea, but Aquilani believes that the trip to Wembley will not distract the players on Thursday night.
"I think it's absurd to believe that someone may play one game while thinking about another one," the 30-year-old told reporters.
"They'll come here to win, and they will play with the highest levels of concentration, and we're ready for them.
"The game is going to be very difficult. They will come here to win in spite of our initial advantage."
Fiorentina scored a crucial away goal in the 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane last week to make them favourites heading into the second leg.
