Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has described his side's victory over Inter Milan in the last 16 of the Europa League as a "great experience".
Spurs were soundly beaten 4-1 at the San Siro on Thursday night, but Emmanuel Adebayor's away goal sent the visitors through with the teams tied at 4-4 on aggregate.
"We did absolutely brilliantly in terms of effort and we are in the last eight," Villas-Boas told BBC Sport.
"We have learned massively in these two ties, against Lyon and Inter, and it's a great experience for me, the players and the club."
Reports have suggested that Spurs players were subjected to racist chanting by Italian fans during the match.
