Burnley winger George Boyd is hopeful that Burnley can push on from their recent impressive displays and knock Tottenham Hotspur out of the FA Cup.
The Clarets have recovered from a slow start to their Premier League campaign, and produced battling displays in their last two outings, away at Manchester City and Newcastle United, to record successive draws.
Those two matches were preceded by narrow defeats at the hands of Liverpool and Spurs, as well as a victory over Southampton, and Boyd believes that the Turf Moor outfit can continue to prove their doubters wrong.
"We can go into our next run of games full of confidence now on the back of the last two results," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.
"It's a great game and hopefully there'll be a big crowd at Turf Moor to get behind us. The FA Cup still has that magic and I was lucky enough to get to the final last year with Hull City and that was a great occasion."
Burnley are currently 19th in the Premier League table, one point from safety.
