Since this article was published, this game has been called off due to a coronavirus outbreak in the Leicester squad. A new date for the game will be confirmed in due course.
Tottenham Hotspur make their return to action on Thursday, when they meet Leicester City in the Premier League.
A COVID-19 outbreak has ravaged the squad since the start of the month, leading to clashes with Rennes and Brighton & Hove Albion being called off.
However, the midweek contest at the King Power Stadium is set to go ahead as planned, with Harry Kane aiming to build on a remarkable record against the team he spent a portion of the 2012-13 season on loan with.
Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at Kane's record against Leicester.
Against no other side does Kane boast such a prolific record as he does against Leicester, with the England skipper boasting 17 goals from 16 games against the Foxes in all competitions.
Kane's first taste of action against Leicester came during his time with Millwall in the 2011-12 Championship campaign, where he scored one and set up another in a 2-1 win for the Lions.
The striker's breakthrough 2014-15 campaign with Spurs saw him bag four goals in two top-flight meetings with the Foxes, including a hat-trick at White Hart Lane in a 4-3 success back in March 2015.
Spurs would proceed to lose 2-1 to Leicester in the FA Cup that same year before knocking them out in the third round in 2015-16, where Kane would hit one goal in the 2-2 draw before failing to fire in the replay.
Kane would fail to fire against Leicester in their 2015-16 title-winning campaign as Spurs failed to win either Premier League game, but he made amends with a four-goal haul at the King Power in a 6-1 drubbing back in May 2017.
The England skipper would add six more goals against Leicester to his repertoire in the 2017-18 and 2019-20 seasons - three in each season - bagging braces at home in both seasons after netting once in defeats at the King Power.
Tottenham suffered a 2-0 defeat to Leicester at home this time last year, but on the final day of the 2020-21 season, Kane claimed another goal and assist on the Foxes' turf to propel Spurs into the Europa Conference League.
In total, Kane has struck an astounding 15 goals in 12 Premier League games for Spurs against Leicester, with the capital club winning seven, drawing one and losing four of those encounters.
The former Foxes loanee has scored eight of those 15 strikes away from home, so there could hardly be a better time for him to finally add to his paltry tally of one Premier League goal in the 2021-22 campaign.
