Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Leicester City

:Headline: Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Leicester City:
Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham Hotspur's injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.
Sports Mole

Tottenham Hotspur are scheduled to return to action on Thursday evening when they travel to Leicester City in the Premier League.

The Lilywhites have seen their clashes with Rennes and Brighton & Hove Albion postponed due to an outbreak of COVID-19 in the camp, with up to eight unnamed players believed to have been affected.

However, reports have claimed that Antonio Conte's side were able to return to the training pitches over the weekend, which bodes well ahead of Thursday's encounter with the Foxes.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Cristian Romero

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Cristian Romero suffered a serious thigh injury while representing Argentina last month and is set to remain sidelined until the New Year.

Giovani Lo Celso

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: December 16 (vs. Leicester)

Giovani Lo Celso has been struggling with a knock since the most recent international break, but the Argentine midfielder is expected to be fine for Thursday, assuming he is COVID-negative.

Sergio Reguilon

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: December 16 (vs. Leicester)

Sergio Reguilon was hooked early doors in the 3-0 win over Norwich City on December 5 with a muscular problem, but he is not believed to be nursing anything serious and could return here.

The club have not confirmed which players tested positive for COVID-19, but premierinjuries states that Emerson Royal, Son Heung-min, Dane Scarlett, Oliver Skipp, Bryan Gil and Lucas Moura are among those affected.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no players suspended for this match.
