Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane has reportedly started to make significant progress as he looks to recover from an ankle injury.
Earlier this month, Kane sustained ligament damage during the Premier League fixture with Bournemouth and it was initially expected that the 24-year-old would not return to action until the end of April.
According to the London Evening Standard, Kane is not ready to join first-team training, but is closing in on linking up with the rest of the squad.
Kane remains highly unlikely to play any part of Sunday's meeting with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but the striker could potentially look to be back in time for the home clash with Manchester City on April 14.
In all competitions this season, Kane has netted 35 goals in 39 appearances.
