Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Brad Friedel has now featured between the sticks for the 300 consecutive Premier League games after lining up for Spurs at Queens Park Rangers this evening.
The 40-year-old began the tireless run while at Blackburn in 2004.
Friedel, who has put much of his impressive fitness down to regular yoga sessions, said: "Most of my friends in the game are retired.
"And every one of them tells me the same thing: Carry on until you can't any more. Because nothing replaces playing."
He will receive a merit award from the Premier League for achieving the feat.
