Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has slammed manager Andre Villas-Boas for comments that he made about the player last weekend.
The France number one joined Spurs late on transfer deadline day and watched on as Brad Friedel put in a solid performance between the sticks the next day against Norwich City.
This led to Villas-Boas stating that the American is his first-choice keeper and that Lloris was his "keeper of the future", a statement the Frenchman has not taken kindly to.
When questioned about what Villas-Boas said, Lloris said: "Obviously it's never nice, but we'll see when we return to work on Wednesday.
"When I join up with the national team I concentrate uniquely on that and we'll see about my personal situation as soon as I go back."
Spurs travel to Reading on Sunday.
