Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-min should be included in the same bracket as players such as Mohamed Salah, Raheem Sterling and Sadio Mane.
The South Korea captain continued his impressive start to the season with the only goal in Tottenham's 1-0 victory over Burnley on Monday night, which took his tally for the season to nine goals and four assists in all competitions.
Having become renowned for his partnership with Harry Kane in the early stages of the new season, Son is now up there with the best wingers in the Premier League, according to Neville.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Neville said: "I think Son is so understated and he doesn't get the glitz of some of the other top players in the league.
"He is an absolutely amazing player Son, he is a brilliant player. It'd be a nightmare to play against him, he makes all the right runs.
"You talk about Sterling regularly, we talk about Mane and Salah at Liverpool, he's right there with them. If he was at Liverpool or City he'd be doing what those lads are doing."
Son could reportedly extend his contract in North London soon, having amassed 94 goals in 237 appearances since arriving from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015.
