Scott Parker believes that his chances of representing England during the European Championships next year have increased following his move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The 30-year-old midfielder finalised a move to White Hart Lane last month from Championship side West Ham United.
"Playing for Tottenham will boost my England prospects," said Parker.
"No disrespect to the players I had been working with at West Ham, but the players at Spurs are very, very good quality and obviously it makes life easier for me.
"When you are working with people of a higher calibre it makes you raise your game."
Parker made his England debut in 2003 and has gone on to win eight caps.
