Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that Harry Kane can become one of the best strikers in the world.
Kane enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season as he scored 31 goals in all competitions and found the net on his England debut against Lithuania in March.
Reports earlier in the summer suggested that Manchester United were considering making a move for the 22-year-old, but Pochettino believes that he will continue to develop quickly in North London.
"He is delighted to stay with Tottenham. He is a big supporter of the club. I think he is very happy and we are very happy he is with us," the Spurs boss told reporters.
"He can manage this pressure. He is young but he is very mature. He is in a very good way to become one of the best strikers in the world.
"If you can do it in England and Europe, you are doing it in the best competitions in the world."
Spurs will start the Premier League season with a trip to Old Trafford to face United on Saturday.
