Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that Harry Kane is the best striker in the Premier League.
The England international scored twice to help Spurs to a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth this afternoon, taking his tally for the season up to a league-leading 21.
Kane also joins an elite list of Alan Shearer, Les Ferdinand, Robbie Fowler and Andy Cole as Englishmen to have scored at least 20 goals in consecutive Premier League seasons.
"Is he the best striker in the Premier League? For me, yes. Maybe it's difficult to say he's the best, but he's one of the best," Pochettino told reporters.
"He's one of the best strikers of a ball and his performance was fantastic today. It was a really good game for him."
Tottenham's victory also closed the gap on league leaders Leicester City back to five points.
