Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Lucas Moura is in contention to make an appearance in the North London derby with Arsenal.
On deadline day, Moura left Paris Saint-Germain to pen a long-term deal with Spurs, but the Brazilian international was unable to feature against Liverpool in the Premier League or Newport County in the FA Cup.
However, Pochettino has suggested that the playmaker is likely to be included in his squad for Saturday's showdown with the club's fierce rivals.
At a press conference, the 45-year-old told reporters: "Yes. I think he will be ready to be in contention for Saturday.
"He's doing well, training so hard, he's starting to feel his legs. And yes we need to assess him tomorrow after the last training session but I hope's he's doing well and we can put him in contention."
Moura has made just six substitute appearances in club football all season.
