Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has cast doubt over Heurelho Gomes' future at the club by claiming that the goalkeeper is unhappy.
The Brazilian's appearance at Stoke City in the Carling Cup on Tuesday night was his first this season after losing his place to Brad Friedel in the league and Carlo Cudicini in the Europa League.
"I would think he won't be happy," said Redknapp. "He wants to play at the World Cup [in 2014] with Brazil, so it's going to be a problem.
"He's done nothing wrong. He's a fantastic goalkeeper and a great pro. I just went with Carlo in Greece [against PAOK], and he was magnificent.
"We'll wait until the next window and see where that takes us."
Spurs continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday with a trip to Wigan Athletic.
