Defender Danny Rose has said that Tottenham Hotspur must learn "how to kill teams off" in the Premier League.
Spurs have won six of their eight games in the top flight this season, with the latest triumph coming on Saturday as the North London outfit edged to a 1-0 victory over Cardiff City.
However, Rose has suggested that he and his teammates have not been good enough in the final third this season, despite averaging almost two goals per game.
The England international is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "We have to learn how to kill teams off. We should have scored three or four against Cardff, easily.
"The defeat to Watford was very frustrating. It was a game we should not be losing. The loss to Liverpool – it was probably the right result.
"It's mixed emotions but we can't complain about where we are now. We go away and we've got a difficult game against West Ham when we get back."
Spurs currently sit in fifth place in the table, just two points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
