Tottenham Hotspur winger Son Heung-min has admitted that he was pleased to contribute in his side's 1-0 win over Sunderland.
Son was named as the man of the match as Spurs got the better of the Black Cats at White Hart Lane, and the South Korea international feels that his team deserved maximum points.
The 24-year-old told Spurs TV: "I work hard in every game. I was disappointed against Monaco and I wanted to play well.
"My teammates also played very well and our performance was good. I think we deserved the three points and I am very happy to play well."
Son was making just his 15th start in the Premier League since joining Spurs in August 2015.
