Tottenham Hotspur will aim to extend an 17-year-old Premier League record against Southampton when they welcome the Saints to North London for Wednesday's Premier League battle.
The Lilywhites were held to a 1-1 draw by Ralph Hasenhuttl's men back in December and lost their most recent Premier League game 2-0 to London rivals Chelsea.
However, Antonio Conte oversaw a 3-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in Saturday's FA Cup contest, and Southampton have not mastered the art of preventing Spurs from winning in recent years.
Indeed, not since the 2003-04 season have Tottenham failed to beat Southampton in a league meeting, with the hosts now aiming to extend that streak to 18 years on Wednesday with all three points.
Southampton won 3-1 and 1-0 in that Premier League campaign but have now beaten the Lilywhites just three times in the top flight since returning to the big time in 2012.
Tottenham enter the midweek round of fixtures down in seventh in the Premier League table - two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with two games in hand.
