Andros Townsend has revealed that he is aiming to impress again for England during the upcoming friendlies against Chile and Germany.
The Tottenham Hotspur winger saw his international career get off to an explosive start last month with strong performances against Montenegro and Poland.
Townsend, 22, is now hoping to maintain his recent form and secure a place in the England squad for next year's World Cup in Brazil.
"I had a fantastic first two caps for England," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "Now it is a chance for me to go away again and prove myself in front of the manager.
"There aren't too many opportunities now to play for England between now and when he picks the squad so I have two games where I have to force my way on to the plane and that is what I will look to do whenever I am given the chance."
England host Chile on Friday before welcoming Germany to Wembley Stadium four days later.
