Tottenham Hotspur winger Andros Townsend has expressed his determination to bounce back from his punishment for breaching betting regulations.
Earlier today the Football Association revealed that they had banned the 21-year-old for four months, three of which are suspended until the summer of 2016.
Having accepted the governing body's verdict, the England youth international has vowed to "come back stronger" from the ordeal.
"Following a personal hearing at the FA and the statement issued today, I fully accept the disciplinary action and shall not be appealing," he wrote on Twitter. "This has been a regrettable experience from which I fully intend to come back stronger.
"Now I'm fully focussed on returning to football during pre-season and determined for this indiscretion to not tarnish my career moving forward."
Townsend spent the second half of last season on loan with Queens Park Rangers.
