Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has praised winger Andros Townsend for his performances this season.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed an extended run in the Spurs side due to the absence of Gareth Bale and made a telling contribution in their 1-0 win over Swansea City by winning the decisive penalty, which was netted by Roberto Soldado.
"I think when he receives the ball with space he has one objective, which is to take on the man and beat the man," Villas-Boas told reporters.
"He's really adding to our game because he brings that light and spark into our game. He's a very explosive player, we gave him the opportunity bearing in mind what he did against Dinamo Tbilisi and I think he took it very, very well."
Next up for Spurs in the Premier League is the north London derby against Arsenal.
