DeAndre Yedlin has revealed that he will use Harry Kane and Nabil Bentaleb's emergence at Tottenham Hotspur as his motivation to prove himself.
The USA full-back earned his Spurs debut after making an 11-minute cameo in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old is enthused by the faith shown in young talent by manager Mauricio Pochettino, with fellow youngsters Kane and Bentaleb both emerging as key players this season.
"It's obviously a place where younger players are developing greatly and you look at Harry Kane — he's the main one and he has just shot through the roof and that's very encouraging," he told the Evening Standard.
"I think it's very motivating when you have guys like Nabil who has started every game at 20 years old and it's encouraging to know that Pochettino has that kind of trust in younger players."
The Lilywhites signed the former Seattle Sounders ace in August but he only joined up with the North Londoners in January.
