Tottenham Hotspur claimed a 2-1 victory over Leicester City to make it three successive wins in the Premier League this afternoon.

Spurs went ahead in the first minute when Harry Kane fired in from close range.

The Foxes levelled the scores three minutes after the break, as Leonardo Ulloa touched in Riyad Mahrez's cross at the near post.

In the 71st minute the visitors regained their lead through Christian Eriksen's low free kick and they held on to take all three points.

Here, Sports Mole has rated the performances of each of the players on show at the King Power Stadium.

Goal

Ben Hamer: Made a couple of decent saves in the first half, but was at fault as he allowed Eriksen's free kick to beat him at his near post. (5/10)

Defence

Danny Simpson: Was constantly beaten down his flank in the first half and allowed Chadli to get in behind him far too easily for the first goal. Struggled to deal with the pace of the Spurs attack and was unable to get forward. (5/10)

Wes Morgan: Allowed Kane to get in front of him to score the first goal and should have found the net late on, but he did not get enough pace on his close-range strike to beat Lloris. (5/10)

Marcin Wasilewski: Found it tough against Kane, but made some decent challenges and was good in the air. (6/10)

Paul Konchesky: The full-back made a fantastic saving challenge to deny Bentaleb in the first half and made sure that Spurs never got in down his side of the pitch. (6/10)

Midfield

Danny Drinkwater: Put in some strong challenges in the midfield, but struggled to make an impact. (5/10)

Andy King: Another who failed to get into the match and was replaced at half time by James. (5/10)

Riyad Mahrez: The winger was Leicester's best player and always looked a threat. He set up the first with a fine run and cross, before hitting the bar with a stunning free kick. (8/10)

Jeff Schlupp: Positive showing from the Ghanaian international, who put the Spurs defence under a lot of pressure with his direct runs. He forced Lloris into a great save in the second half and looked a danger throughout. (7/10)

Attack

Leonardo Ulloa: Took his goal well at the start of the second half. However, he should have scored before the break with a header against the post from close range. (7/10)

David Nugent: Barely had a touch of the ball and struggled against the visitors' defence. Was replaced by Vardy late on in the second half. (5/10)

Substitutes

Matty James: Came on at half time and slotted well into the Foxes midfield. (6/10)

Jamie Vardy: Showed far more threat than Nugent, but was unable to find a way past Lloris. (6/10)

Anthony Knockaert: Was only on for the final seven minutes and did not see much of the ball. (6/10)

Hugo Lloris: Made some fantastic saves throughout the match, with stops from Schlupp and Mahrez the best of the lot. (8/10)

Defence

Kyle Walker: Did not get forward as much as he would have liked and picked up a card in the first half. (6/10)

Jan Vertonghen: Had a solid game at the back, but was fortunate not to give away a penalty late on after appearing to catch Vardy. (6/10)

Federico Fazio: Struggled at times against Ulloa and allowed the striker to get free and head against the post in the first half, but generally had a decent game. (7/10)

Danny Rose: Was given a tough time by Mahrez on his return to the starting lineup and will be disappointed that he allowed the Algerian to get in behind him for the goal. (6/10)

Midfield

Nacer Chadli: The Frenchman had a great start to the game when he burst clear down the left and set up Kane for the first goal. He showed more signs of danger until he was replaced by Soldado just past the hour mark. (7/10)

Benjamin Stambouli: Wasted a huge chance to score in the first half when he raced clean through on goal, but took his time and allowed Konchesky to tackle him. He looked good when on the ball, but came off at the break for Mason. (6/10)

Christian Eriksen: Came to his side's rescue with the winning goal from a free kick. Showed some neat touches throughout and always looked a danger in possession. (7/10)

Nabil Bentaleb: Beaten for pace by Mahrez for Leicester's goal, but generally had a solid game in the midfield. (6/10)

Erik Lamela: Started the game strongly and was involved in the first goal, but faded as the match wore on. (6/10)

Attack

Harry Kane: The striker found the net once more with a composed finish in the first minute. He did not have too many more chances to impress, but should have grabbed another goal with a header just before the break. (7/10)

Substitutes

Ryan Mason: Was brought on at half time and showed some decent touches in the midfield. (6/10)

Paulinho: Came on for the closing stages and did not have a chance to impress. (6/10)
