Tottenham Hotspur travel to Tynecastle Park on Wednesday to face Hearts in their first official friendly of the summer, having put seven past Cambridge United behind closed doors at the weekend.
Ange Postecoglou will be without a host of internationals in midweek, including Copa America winners Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero, as well as Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Radu Dragusin, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur.
In addition, Destiny Udogie, Ben Davies and Fraser Forster are all working their way back from injuries, leaving Postecoglou bereft of options at the back in particular, and such shortages should see Brandon Austin guard the posts.
Pedro Porro and Ashley Phillips should be involved from the off, while a distinct lack of centre-backs could see 16-year-old Jun'ai Byfield given a chance after he was involved in the Cambridge contest.
Nineteen-year-old striker Jamie Donley reportedly filled in at left-back over the weekend and might do so again here, but Postecoglou is blessed with experienced options further up the field.
While new boys Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall should be involved at some stage, Oliver Skipp and Yves Bissouma might be preferred from the off in midfield, just behind creative focal point James Maddison.
Back for a full-season loan from RB Leipzig, Timo Werner could be given the nod on Tottenham's left flank, as Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-min complete the attacking system.
Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Austin; Porro, Phillips, Byfield, Donley; Bissouma, Skipp; Kulusevski, Maddison, Werner; Son
