Tottenham Hotspur net two late goals to claim a dramatic 3-2 victory over West Ham United at White Hart Lane.

Two late goals from Harry Kane have earned Tottenham Hotspur a dramatic 3-2 victory in the London derby against West Ham United.

The Hammers held a 2-1 lead heading into the 89th minute but Kane struck twice - including the winning goal from the penalty spot - to see Spurs get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino's team remain in fifth place in the table but they extend their unbeaten run in the top flight to 12 matches.

It took just three minutes for Spurs to get a shot on goal but Harry Winks - on his first Premier League start - sent a volley wide of Darren Randolph's goal.

The youngster then set up Kane, who fired wide of the post from 25 yards, but the Hammers looked lively on the break and Antonio curled a long-range effort just over the crossbar.

Spurs were having the majority of possession but on 25 minutes, West Ham went in front when Antonio was in the right place at the right time to head in from inside the six-yard area after Winston Reid had directed a shot towards goal.

The home team continued to probe in the final third but they were not making the most of having both Kane and Vincent Janssen in attack and West Ham made it to half time without having to rely on the services of Randolph.

Spurs came out for the restart with more directness about their play and it took just six minutes for the North London outfit to equalise as Winks fired home from close range after Janssen's volley had been saved by Randolph.

However, while Spurs played with a higher intensity and spent time threatening a second goal, chances were few and far between although Eric Dier did force a fantastic save out of Randolph with a header from eight yards out.

Despite Spurs levelling the match, West Ham continued to throw men forward, and they regained the lead on 68 minutes after Janssen was adjudged to have hauled down Reid inside the area after a corner had been delivered into the box.

Manuel Lanzini stepped up to take the kick and he sent Lloris the wrong way to give his team the platform to see out a much-needed win away from home.

Spurs introduced Dele Alli but the Hammers continued to create the better opportunities on the break and Simone Zaza should have done better after being teed up by Dimitri Payet.

The failure to find a third came back to haunt West Ham and with a minute remaining, Kane got Spurs back on level terms by converting into an empty net at the back post after Son Heung-min's cross had been deflected into his path by Randolph.

There was more drama to come as Spurs snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in added-on time when Havard Nordtveit brought Son down inside the penalty area and Kane made no mistake from 12 yards.

It got worse for West Ham as Reid was dismissed for two late yellow cards, but Slaven Bilic will be more concerned with how his side capitulated in the closing stages after appearing to have done enough in North London.
